![]() About Our Rating Storyline: Sailu (Anushka) is New York based NRI who lives with her mother and Chiku (her sisters’ son). She works as an event manager in a company and will be in problems all times due to financial problems in the company. Once she happens to meet KK a.k.a. Krishna (Jagapathi Babu) who lives next door with his daughter as he admits that his wife is no more. Sailu falls for KK as he resolves all the problems of her. KK turns down Sailu’s love. How all ends well form the rest of the story? Casting Performances: Jagapathi Babu is charming as KK in the film. His character in this film is more of class and completely family oriented one. His comedy is good and did perfectly in emotional scenes. Overall it’s a cake walk character for him. Anushka looked gorgeous on the screen. She is awesome both in terms of looks and performance. She suited the role to the tee. Bhumika is perfect fit for the role of Vidya who suffers from a dreadful disease Chronic Leukemia. She is pretty good in histrionics department. She created comedy by getting drunk and pretty cool at it. She did emotional scenes very well. Others: Action King Arjun has a guest role as an NRI doctor. He justified the role and did a decent job. Dharmavarapu and Ramaprabha’s comedy track failed to impress the audience. Ravi Babu’s funny role gives comic relief if you ignore the vulgarity in it. Ali’s role as a Pakistani citizen is adequate. Sunil did a short role. Venumadhav, Jhansi and Kondavalasa are fine and evoked good laughter. Others chipped in. TECHNICAL ASPECTS Story - Screenplay & Direction: Story of the film is fine which is completely targeted towards family crowds. Screenplay of the film is adequate and turns into predictable mode in the second half. Direction of the film could have been better in the first half. Director succeeded in extracting genuine emotions in some scenes particularly in flashback. Over all it’s a run of mill work from Dasarath. Other Departments: Music by RP Patnaik is mediocre. “Kotha Kotha ga vunnadi…” is pick of the songs. Background music is neat. Dialogues by Dasarath are moderate. Editing is fine. Ramesh Babu’s camera work is noticeable. Songs picturization is also good. Production values by Adityaram Movies are of high standards. Analysis: First half of the film is average. Second half of film is good mainly the flashback episode. Climax is predictable and is a weakling. The main leads performances, feel-good flashback episode are the main positive aspects of the film. Ordinary scenes, mediocre music and vulgar comedy in the first half let the movie down. Overall, it’s a run of the mill flick. Nothing Special! |
