Overall Rating 4.5/5

Sri Raghavam
Keeravani lends his voice for this rendition of a Keerthana. He sets high standards to the album with this opening song.

Sri Rama Ramethi
Keeravani again renders these mantras in an exotic and soothing way. The background of the song has chants of Vedic.

Tandri Matanu
Sunitha with her luscious voice attracts the music lovers. The song does not have any background music. The lyric briefly explains the how goddess Sita follow Rama to Forest. The song is barely a minute length but very sweetly sung by Sunitha.

Yentho Ruchira
SP Balu sings this one in an amazing way. He adds soul to the song with his rendition. The lyric is a Keerthana which interpret that the name SRI RAMA is tastier than the all starting with “Karjura”, “Nava Rasa Paramannam”. He also praises the name Sri Rama in this song. SP sings it vehemently.

Shudda Bramha
The song Shudda Bramha is composed in the Raghupathi Raja Rama format. Chitra gives in her best. It’s very smoothly orchestrated as well. Chorus adds flavor to the song. It’s a Very good song on the whole.

Chalu Chalu
It’s the first song which is not from the Ramadasu Keerthana. It’s a romantic number between the lead. Sunitha lends her succulent rendition again. SP Charan also is very good equally. Lyric explain us about the fondness amid the lead. It’s a good number.

Charanamulee
Madhu Balakrishna starts this number with his typical vocal. Chitra takes up from him from the second Keerthana. The number is a mix of various Keerthanas. Ramachary also lends his voice. Overall its beautiful clubbed Keerthanas in one number by Keeravani. The increase of the tempo at the end tells us about the involvement and hard work put in by the Music director.

Nanu Brovavamani
SP Balu once again brings soul to the song with his exceptionally talented singing. The way he moans and cries in the song is highly laudable. Chitra catches him in the end. Lyric explain us how Ramadasu plead Sita wife of Rama. Orchestration sets the mood. Excellent usage of violin at the peaks speaks for the prowess of the music director.

Paluke Bangaramayena
Here is once again one of the most famous Ramadasu Keerthanas. It captures and enthralls. Chitra as like SP has mastered the art of singing to the mood really well. The way she adapts to the mood of the song is highly laudable. Keeravani accompanies her. The voice of his somewhat adds variety in between. It’s a good ploy. The soothing Background set also enhance the subtleness of the song. Need less to say it as a beautiful song.

Badhra Sheela
Simply one of the best Ramadasu Keerthana. Hari Haran sings this time adding a bit variety to the album. Chitra accompanied him well. It’s a beautifully sung and orchestrated song. The shift in tune at the end adding a bit pace is neatly done and executed. Overall it’s a good number.

Yetheeruga
This Ramadasu hymn needs a special mention. Bala Murali Krishna did his best to deliver without obstructing the mood of the song. Lyric interpret how Ramadasu plead his idol Rama. Chorus enhances the mood of the song. It’s a very well sung song.

Hylessa
Devisri Prasad starts this one in an interesting way, Keeravani also comes in between and also does the chorus work. Malavika accompanied Devi. Overall it’s a beautiful melodious song. Usage of Devisri added a bit variety to the song and to the album as well.

Sunitha once again did brilliant job. She has mastered to add lusciousness to the song. Lyric explain about the Badhrachalam Kshetra and explain about the incidences happened over there in Ramayana. JK Bharavi did an excellent job. It’s a wonderful song which is filled in with lots of feelings.

Isvakulaku Tilaka
Shankar Mahadevan is aptly chosen for this high pitched song and fast paced song. Lyric explain how Ramadasu vents his anger over his worship idol Rama on his not caring him and. He also explains how he spent his all his life in worshipping him. The word at the end “Evadabba Sommu ani Kulukuthuu Tirigevu Ramachandra” tells us the entire story. It’s a neat sung story.

Mangalam
It’s a hymn of Sri Ramadasu. It’s a well sung song with chorus involving in most part of it.

Allah
Shankar Mahadevan once again did his best to deliver an outstanding song. Vijay Yesudas accompanied him in some phrases. Vedavyas’s Lyric is excellent and classic in one word. Lyric explains us about the Shri Rama Nama amrutham and how it will clear the problems. It’s a beautiful song.

Antha Ramamayam
The song is a mix of, Ramadasu Keerthana and Sloka of Ramayana at the end. SP did splendid job. The coolness of his voice is discernible in the song. Lyric explains us about the Ramadasu telling that whole world is filed with lord Rama. Chorus did very well and the switch over to Sloka at the end is also done well. Over all it’s a good song.

Keeravani and JK Bharavi has done a splendid job in selecting the eminent and exotic Ramadasu Keerthanas and succeeded to the nucleus in blending them into songs. Singer’s renditions are excellent and praiseworthy. It has become a while after Annamayya has created sensation, now Ramadasu is all ready to create sensation. Overall it is one of the great albums in the history of Telugu cinema.

PS: I restrained my self from giving individual ratings to the songs for this album, as that would dampen down the eminence and the substance of the song. So I rated the album as a whole.

Overall Rating 4.5/5
