About Our Rating

Storyline:
Krishna (Raviteja) is a gold medalist in academics and is chirpy in nature. He lives with his brother and sister-in-law in Vijayawada without any definite aspiration. Once he happens to see Sandhya (Trisha) at Durga Temple and falls in love at first sight and after initial resistance Sandhya also falls in love with him. Jatkha (Mukhul Dev), the villain will be in search of Sandhya. Who is Sandhya? The reasons behind her search by villain and how Krishna clears the obstacles forms the rest of story.

Casting Performances:
Raviteja is very energetic in the movie. His performed equally well in both the roles, one as a good lover and the other as a hard hitter. His comedy timing needs to be commended particularly the scenes with Brahmanandam. He excelled in action sequences as well.

Trisha is pretty good and homely in the role of Sandhya. She looked very glamorous particularly in the songs. Her dances and performance is also worth mention.

Others:
Brahmanandam steals the entire show and produced huge laughter with his impeccable comedy timing. He is hilarious in the role of Bobby who has an illicit affair with a maid. Debutant Mukhul Dev played as main villain and did well. Shiyaji Shindey role as brother of Trisha is notable. Jayaprakash Reddy evoked good comedy in the second half. Chandra Mohan and Sudha as Brother and Sister-in-law of Raviteja are ok. Venumadhav played a short role and performed well. Sunil, Chitram Srinu and Murali as friends of Raviteja are good. Others chipped in.

TECHNICAL ASPECTS
Story - Screenplay & Direction:
Story by Akula Siva is just routine and very thin. One has to admit that the Screenplay of the movie is outstanding. VV Vinayak who has knack of canning full length action films has now given more preference to humor. Screenplay is treated with fast pace such that there is no single boring moment in the film. Direction is good. Couple of blasting scenes canned in his style lifted up the tempo of the film.

Dialogues by Akula Siva are very impressive. He succeeded in cracking the witty one liner on the screen. The dialogues written for Brahmanandam evoked hilarious comedy. The dialogue, “rowdyism puttinde bezawada lora” got tremendous response from masses.

Other Departments:
Music by Chakri is just OK but all the songs are well picturised on the screen. Background score is good. Chota K Naidu excelled with photography work in this film. Tata Safari chasing scene is well executed. The film has right color combination and perfect shades to match the scenes. Editing by Goutham Raju is neat. Stunts by Ram Laxman are of top class. Art work by AS Prakash is ok.

Analysis:
First half of the movie is excellent with lot of humor in it. The comedy episodes between Raviteja and Brahmanandam are hilarious. Second half is good. On the other hand flash back episode should have been better. The positive points of the film are Raviteja, VV Vinayak’s screenplay and humor. Pre-climax episode where large numbers of Sumo vehicles are brought together and blasting of Lorries took place is well received by masses. Overall, Raviteja’s Krishna has all capabilities to stand out as Sankranthi winner.
