Megastar Chiranjeeva, regardless of the performance of his movies at the box-office is the most sought after actor in Telugu Cinema. After the debacle of Andarivadu, he is back with the magical title Jai Chiranjeeva! Ace producer Aswani Dutt after three incessant stupendous hits with megastar produces this one under prestigious Vyjayanthi Movies. Known as the pleasant director, K Vijaya Baskar directs the mega movie. This indeed is a mega combo.
Manisharma the keyboard magician, after a gap of couple of movies fuses with megastar. Astonishingly, this is his ninth movie with megastar, which speaks of his caliber. Does Manisharma succeed in giving an impressive album to Chiru? Just read on...
Jai Jai Ganesha Chandra Bose is known for his indigenous and austere usage of words in penning the lyrics. This time he depicts on the evils of the ethnicity. Taste the sample of his magical words
“Lokam Nalumulala Ledayya Kulasa Desam Palu Vypula Edo Rabasa Mosam Jana Sankya La Undayya Hamesha Papam Himagirula Ga Perigenu Telusa”
Who would have voiced this gem of a lyric better than Balu! His juvenile modulation added sagacity and ended up in making it as a chart buster. Tune by Mani is simple as orchestration is slightly in the lines of Bam Bam Bole song. Balu’s rendition and lyrics are the assets to the song.
KO KO Kodi Udit Narayana, the lucky mascot of Mani Sharma rendered the song with lot of verve. Chitra accompanied him well. Tune is excellent, as is orchestration. Interludes are specially designed, initiating with the chorus and ending the interlude with the flute and in between, coalesce of the trumpets and the rhythms speaks for the dexterity of Mani Sharma. Bhuvana Chandra lyrics appeal for masses. It’s a master piece creation.
Hey Jaana The song explicates how the male lead warns the teen ladies on their approach towards the modern lifestyle which rupture our tradition. Kay Kay, who is familiar for special numbers, sings this one with endurance. Tune is ok and orchestration depicts it as a discotheque number. Chandra Bose and Baskarabatla combinely pen this one with some attracting lyrics.
Thumps Up Well, if you are an enthusiast of some hard hitting music, here it is. The racy song is stuffed in with hefty rhythms and techno. Tune is refreshing and orchestration is the soul of the song. The tempo of the songs gets on at the end of Pallavi and reaches to the max in the interlude which has Saxophone and guitar fused in vehemently. Nihar sang this one and accompanied him well with her enthralling luscious voice is Mahalaxmi Iyer. Sirivennela words the song. I would love to watch Megastar performing for this song with all his guns blazing.
Thillana Sirivennela penned the lyrics which interpret the inner personality of the male lead. Shankar Mahadevan after a healthy gap fuses with Mani to deliver an outstanding performance. Tune is scintillating; orchestration is more of an adherent to the tune. Violin bit used is captivatingly melodious. Shankar Mahadevan’s elegant rendition is an asset to the song.
Maha Muddosthunnave The only, run of the mill number in the album. It is more designed with ample rhythms as a dance number to give scope for Chiru to make his fans go strange over his steps. Karthik, known for his fast numbers and Sreya for her succulent tone needs special mention. Both of them did their best to twirl this average tune into an impressive one. Sirivennela lyrics are routine. It’s a good dance number.
The audio is crowded with good numbers which has sophisticated orchestration and lovable rendition by the singers, for a change. Manisharma once again proved how good he is, when it comes in delivering the goods for the big stars. The songs have fresh feel in it and the stylish orchestration has given ample scope for megastar to display his skills in dancing. Overall it’s an excellent audio neglecting the fact that it doesn’t have an out and out mass number.
