 Telugu Bharathy of Greater Toronto Area organized Hemachandra concert, many Indians attended the concert & enjoyed a lot. Hemachandra sang very good Hindi and Telugu movie numbers and danced his way with a Telugu number “Just chill out chill out” from Nagarjuna starrer “BOSS”. TollywoodInfo.com got an opportunity to chat with him during this concert.  Tollywoodinfo: Hi Hemachandra! Nice to see your concert here in Canada? Hemachandra: Oh it was pretty good and thanks to people of Canada for making it happen here in Canada. Their love and affection brought me here. Tollywoodinfo: At what age you started singing? Hemachandra: At the age of 4. Tollywoodinfo: At what age you gave your first Concert? Hemachandra: I gave my first concert at the age of 5. Tollywoodinfo: Who was your First teacher? Hemachandra: First I started learning music from my mother, than they joined me with another music teacher, as I was not focussed in learning with my mother. Tollywoodinfo: How did Saregamapa happen to you? Hemachandra: Some one who know about my interest in singing recommended me for ZEE TV and I was called for auditions where more than 10,000 participated and I was selected among them in the final list. Tollywoodinfo: Many believed the song you sang in Saregamapa , That is “Ramtaaa Jogi” from “TAAL” was excellent and better than the original voice.. Hemachandra: Oh no, anyway thanks for compliments. Tollywoodinfo: If you were to judge, whom will you select from other two finalists?. Hemachandra: I don’t think I reached a stage to judge others. Tollywoodinfo: Being from the southern part of India you was very good at Hindi songs? Hemachandra: Actually I am not much interested in Hindi songs initially, My sister used to listen a lot, I used to make fun at her saying ”Yeah kya sunra hai, thuu”.  Tollywoodinfo: Which is your first song in the first concert you gave? Hemachandra: It’s a Telugu number “ayee diviloo verisina parijaathamoo” Tollywoodinfo: How did “BOSS” happen to you? Hemachandra: Some one who knows about me took me to Nagarjuna garu, He asked for my Albums and I gave him. While I am going back, I got call from Nagarjuna garu within 30 minutes and he said ”there is recording today evening and you are going to sing a song”. I got surprised and amazed, waw! I am going to be rendering my voice to Nagarjuna garu. Tollywoodinfo: Your voice is very good and you dance well, given a chance will you be acting in Telugu films? Hemachandra: No, I want to focus one at a time and singing is my priority. Tollywoodinfo: Do you get to see Telugu film websites. Hemachandra: Not very often, some times.
