 Nagarjuna aka Nag is one of the most stylish, glamorous and flamboyant stars to have ever graced the silver screen. He is respected for his professional approach to his acting career. He has a great eye for talent and has the credit of identifying and introducing new talent to the film industry. Born on 29th August, 1959 to thespian Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Smt. Annapurna, Nag spent his childhood days in Hyderabad. After the completion of his Engineering, he flew to USA to complete his Masters. His foray into films began with a movie called “Vikram”. This movie was definitely not the debut vehicle Nag or any of his family members had anticipated for although it had a decent run at the BO. Directed by a newbie director Ram Gopal Varma, this movie became a ground breaker and still stands out as one of the all time best movies ever made in Telugu. GEETANJALI was another movie that churned out his acting prowess and enabled him to team up with India’s best director Mani Ratnam. With the passage of time, Nag improved as an actor and emerged as a force in the industry. His fan base mainly consists of family audience, students and girls. He commands enormous following among female fans for his none-to-match dressing style and body language.  He balanced his career with class and mass hits like – AKHARI PORATAM, ALLARI ALLUDU, VARASUDU, HELLO BROTHER, PRESIDENT GARI PELLAM, NUVVU VASTAVANI, SANTOSHAM, MANMADHUDU, SIVAMANI, NENUNNANU and MASS. In addition to being a very successful actor, he proved his taste as a great producer by producing various super hit movies like SISINDRI and SATYAM.
