![]() About Our Rating Casting Performances: Sharwanand played as a rich youngster and suited the role to the tee. He looked very charming in the film. His performance in the emotional scenes is noteworthy. Kamalini Mukherjee performs for an important role in the film and has given a wonderful performance. Chinese dance by her looked good. Rao Ramesh, who did the role of ex-naxalite is very good. Abhishek as brother of hero role is ok. Brahmanandam did a short role and evoked good laughter. MS Narayana’s comedy is good enough. Story - Screenplay & Direction: Basic Story of the film is about a rich brat who recognizes the significance of life through a journey. But what makes this simple story into delightful fare is the screenplay, which is very good and interesting. Debutant director Krish handled the film with tremendous gripping screenplay. One should commend the director for his wonderful script writing particularly the Gaali Seenu Character. Direction is also good. Other Departments: Music ES Murthy-Anil R is average and routine. Background score is fine. Dialogues by Nagaraju Gandham are stupendous particularly one-liners by Allari Naresh such as ‘idhey Yaganti adhigo aunty’ and ‘basu adhi naa casu’. There are also neat philosophical dialogues in the film. Photography by Hari Anumolu is neat. Lyrics by Sirivennela are very sensible and worth a special mention. Editing is precise. Stunts are adequate. Overall, it’s a good effort from technical department. First half of the film is very entertaining with some exceptional comedy by Allari Naresh. The main positive aspects of the film are screenplay, character performances, and comedy. Second half of the film is also good barring few scenes. Climax is appropriate. Debutant director Radha Krishna (Krish) convincingly dealt the main ingredient of the film, love and human-relationships in the entertainment mode and he should be commended for his writing abilities. Overall, Gamyam is a worth watch movie and a fresh breeze from routine commercial flicks. |
