Telugu Cine MAA Awards for the year 2007 were given away in a grand function held at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad on the night of 22nd March, 2008. Telugu Film Industry popular personalities including Megastar Chiranjeevi, Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna, K Raghavendra Rao, K Viswanath, Murali Krishnam Raju (MAA Tv Chairman) and others graced this event. Hero Jr. NTR and Trisha bagged the best hero and best heroine awards for the films Yamadonga and Aduvari Matalaku Arthale Veru le respectively. Kalatapasvi K Viswanath won Life Time Achievement Award and also felicitated on this occasion. Comedian Dr. Brahmanandam was felicitated spcecially on this occassion for his entry into Guinness Book for acting in maximum number of movies in one language. Sekhar Kammula’s Happy Days bagged awards in 7 categories, Jr. NTR’s Yamadonga got 6 awards and Ram Charan Teja’s debut film Chirutha won 4 awards.
