Prince Mahesh is branded as versatile actor in Tollywood. With just single digit movies in his hand he is most sought actor at the box-office. After a run of the mill flick Arjun he is back as Athadu. Trisha has been paired up as the female lead for the first time. Trivikram Srinivas best recognized for his satirical rhyming dialogues directs his second venture after Nuvve Nuvve to try his good fortune. Manisharma the ace music director of Tollywood composed the tunes. Astonishingly this is the seventh film for Mahesh with Mani out of his ten and all of them being applauded even by critics is a good pageant. Does the history repeats? Just read on Adharaku: 4.5/5 The song happens to be the introduction song of the male lead. Manisharma has the reputation of composing majestic intro songs. Again the record retell, as the song has already created sensation with its novel approach. Adharaka badhulE cheppEti teguvaku (Boldness) todu athadE Writes Viswa unfolding Athadu as the one who retort with courage and arrive as Dawn which shatters the darkness. Kaalam nanu tarimindhO soolam la eduristhA Continues the male lead relating him as the tri-dent who opposes the fortune as well. Lyrics by Viswa are amazing and are full of sagacity. Apart from wording viaswa also sang the song. His voice modulation at the peaks speaks his prowess as a singer. His previous songs as singer cum lyricist are Kuch Kuch from Sathyam. He also sang Love Dangerous from Priyadarshini which has music by Mani. Coming to the tune it is fresh as is the orchestration. It’s a must listen. Avunu Nizam: 3.5/5 Excellent orchestration finished this average tune as a chartbuster. Treating a melody tune with Cowboy sort orchestration is commendable. Kay Kay sang it with endurance accompanied him is Sunitha with her saccharine voice. Sirivennala words interpret the male lead affection on female protagonist. The song is an instant winner for its orchestration Pilichina Raanantaava: 4.5/5 Sirivennela has become a master in wording the repartee songs canned on leads. This time also he mastered the song with his unsullied lyrics. The song illustrates how the distress filled female lead depicts to her Bhava on various modes to reach her. Tune by Mani is pleasant and orchestration lived up to the tune. Karthik, who is famous for fast beat songs, attempted the melody and succeeded. Kavitha Subramanyam with her luscious voice turned this into a huge one. Chandamama Chandamama: 4/5 Mahalaxmi Iyer sang this one with appetite. Ranjith (Who sang Adugadugu Gundenadugu from Bobby) did an enormous job. His modulation speaks about his skill. Sirivennala pens this one with some catchy lines which describes how the female lead beseeches the male protagonist to respond her. Tune is splendid and orchestration is hefty relatively. Ranjit`s rendition is an asset to the song. Pilla Gaali: 3.5/5 The song has strong déjà vu feel. Shreya Goshal who has become a whiz in rendering the female lead songs performed this one. Though she did decent job it had strong feel of Nuvvem Maaya Chesavo from Okkadu. Sirivennala words this one with some catchy lines. Tune is Ok and orchestration is fluffy. Neetho Cheppana: 4.5/5 It’s the combo which created sensation over the years. History repeats again, I was talking about S P Balu and Chitra Combination. Both did extremely well to ensure that feel did not miss in the song. Especially Balu added flavor with his rendition. Sirivennala lyrics interpret the affection of female lead towards male lead. Taste this aroma for sample. Gaaram (Fondness) chesina nayagaram (Beauty) choopina Tune is simply scintillating. Orchestration goes along with the song. It’s a master piece in Manisharma career. The song has repeat hear value for its lyric value and for excellent rendition by Balu. Conflicting much, the audio is jam-packed with succulent melodies which have sweet rendition and great lyric value. Manisharma succeeded in delivering soothing album again to Mahesh. The audio can easily become a plus point to the movie. Overall its gem of an album which Mani could feel proud of it. |
